This backpiece is a testament to the will of the man who wears it. As we got to the half way point of the tattoo he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent surgery to remove it. During his recovery and time off work we managed to finish the tattoo just before his radiation treatment. His Dr. gave the OK by the way. The tattoo healed great and he has since been give the all clear in the cancer department and even took 1st place for extensive black and gray at his first convention.
