My dedicated client Adrienne gave me the opportunity to rework this piece I did for her 10 years ago, a memorial to her friend who passed away.
Over time the contrast, brightness, and sharpness of all tattoos inevitably decrease as a natural result of the body's aging process and the limitations of tattoo pigments. After 10 years just about any tattoo could use a little maintainence, with the added bonus of being able to combine the newer layer of ink with the older one to achieve effects and subtlety not possible with any single layer of pigment. Many thanks to my clients who are willing to come back for a refresher on their older work!
