Nate, who is an entomologist now living in France studying butterflies, came to me with this beautiful project. We based the colors off of vintage illustrative insect drawings, staying true to muted powdery tones. The best part about the whole project is that Nate would always bring me new music, that my clients still swoon over, and also his quirky sense of humor that kept me laughing. I truly have come to think of him and his beautiful wife as good friends. Oh, and thanks for the invitation to stay with you both in France! (Love when that happens!)
