So truth be told I had never actually seen a bleeding heart flower before. But they're supercool. Luckily I've seen the occasional monarch so I wasn't approaching this tattoo as "What are these fantastical and completely made-up creatures?!" Not that that would have been bad, but I would probably have given the butterfly a single horn, because when you're just making up creatures...hell, why NOT throw some horns in there?
